Our Story

From when we first met to our cross-country adventures, our story has been full of the kind of love that feels like home. What started as a spark has grown into a wild, beautiful partnership. Here’s a look at some of the moments that brought us here.

November 2018

We Met!

We met on a dating app in our junior year of college despite growing up living just 5 minutes apart.

March 2019

Started Dating

We quickly realized we should be more than friends. The rest is history.

May 2020

Graduated

We both graduated from Appalachian State University. Ashley with a B.S. in Biology and Ben with a B.S. in Computer Science.

March 2021

Moved to Asheville

We got our very first place together. A townhouse on the outskirts of Asheville, NC. Shortly after, we moved to a 3 bedroom house on the north side of town.

November 2022

Bought Our Camper

From a 1,400 sqft house with a basement, to a 190 sqft camper. We had a lot of down sizing and learning to do. Our original plan was to buy land and stay local. That didn’t last for long…

January 2024

Started Our Cross-Country RV Trip

After being mostly stationary for a while, we decided to take full advantage of our house on wheels. Thanks to Ben’s fully remote job, we traveled across the country, stopping in 8 states over 6 months.
